Silvercore 324 TVC Pre Amplifier (Used)

The Silvercore 324 is a superb TVC (Transformer Volume Control). Handmade in Germany this is a 3 input (two line level and one balanced) 24 step volume control (hence the 324 model number).

The transformers are wound with pure silver (imagine the cost of that today!) and the chassis is a high polished Zebrano wood with Stainless steel top and base.

It's a unit we supplied new to its original owner. There are some light scratches to the lid but it is in overall very good condition (with the slight caveat that one of the legs is a touch shorter than the rest!)

This is a great sounding pre amplifier and the volume steps seem to have been chosen well to work with most systems (but beware of very high gain systems which lack any other sort of attenuation)
