Rotel CD11 MkII Stereo CD Player

The Rotel CD11mk2 CD player offers excellent value for money and very sound engineering decisions rarely seen at this price point. 

The power supply is a linear design, a more costly and heavy option compared to the switch mode power supplies commonly found at this level, but it's one that invariably brings improvements in performance.

The tray loading CD mechanism is a big plus to many people too, and the mechanism feeds a Texas Instruments DAC processor.

A more thorough evaluation will follow, but I can say that for the price this really can't be faulted, it's an entertaining listen with a good sense of pace and without the harsh edges of associated with many budget designs, so very much recommend for anyone that requires a new CD player that doesn't break the bank.
