Genuine Rega turntable lids to fit all ages of traditional shaped (rectangular plinth) Rega turntables as is the same as supplied with the Planar 1, Planar 2 and Planar 3 models (please note it does not fit the skeletal models like the PL8 and Planar 10).
This lid will also fit turntables made by Rega for other manufacturers, this includes certain models from Goldring, Edwards Audio, the NAD 533 and Flexson Vinylplay.
They come pre fitted with the male hinge pieces.
There are two options available, the dimensions are identical so can be swapped.
Clear: As fitted to the Planar 1, 2 and 3 as standard. This is an optically clear material.
Tinted: often called smoked, this is a high quality material with a grey tint to it. This material is less prone to marking than the clear and therefore harder wearing. This is currently fitted to the Planar 6 turntable as standard.
