This is the latest glass platter as fitted to the current version of the Planar 3 (PL3). It will fit most Rega turntables (if in doubt please ask!), please note that this platter is 2mm thicker than the one fitted to the current Planar 2 (which we also sell, see our other listings) so it may affect the height of the LP and therefore the VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle) when used on other models of Rega turntables.
These platters are naturally flat and have the new 'Optiwhite' polished edge - which looks really smart as it's like a brushed finished on the perimeter (please see close up picture).
The thickness of the platter is 12mm. The hole in the centre of the platter is approximately 18mm in diameter. They weigh approximately 2.2kg.
A high quality Planar 3 wool felt mat is also included (which adds approximately 2-3mm of height on top of the glass platter)
