We have just traded in this Planar 2 to help a customer upgrade. It's a deck we supplied to its previous owner and has been well looked after. the turntable itself is in very good condition with just some light scratches to the gloss black plinth. There were some more visible scratches on the lid so we have replaced it with a new one (the pictures are of it with the old one still fitted).
We have also fitted a brand new stylus, so it's all ready to go for the next owner.
It is click and collect as we do not have the packaging for it. If purchased with the genuine Rega packaging set then we could ship it anywhere within the UK.

Tonearm - Featuring the brand new RB220 tonearm which is packed with groundbreaking new features. Incorporating new ultra low friction, Rega designed, bespoke, zero play ball bearings (Patent Pending).
Hub bearing - The Planar 2 has a new 11mm self securing brass bearing (Patent Pending) offering improved fit and less stress on the bearing preventing the transfer of potential energy. Plinth - High gloss acrylic laminated plinth, stiffer and vastly improved appearance with ergonomically positioned power switch.
Motor - New 24v low noise, low vibration motor assembly and new PCB. Speed change is manual and caters for 33.3 and 45 RPM.
Platter - New float glass ‘Optiwhite’ 10mm – Improved accuracy platter, with felt mat included.
Other features : Re-designed feet - New improved foot assembly to increase stability and reduce vibration transfer.
-Motor cover tray - with integrated cooling.
Clear hinged lid included, that's also easy to lift off completely when required.
