This is the packaging set as found on the current Planar 2 and Planar 3 decks.
It includes a sturdy hinge topped cardboard outer box, the two polystyrene end caps, two large bags (one for the plinth, one for the Lid), a cardboard sleeve for the platter, and polystyrene piece that braces between the subplatter and above mentioned cardboard platter sleeve that fits into the underside of the Lid.
This is ideal if you need to transport your deck any distance and you've lost the original packaging. There is a cut out in the polystyrene brace to take the counterweight (never ship a turntable with it fitted as if it comes off it can cause damage. We would recommend adding a piece of card (not included) between the underside of the sub platter and the main plinth to raise the bearing slightly away from the ball bearing contact point.
