Rega Planar 1 Turntable Eco Deck Green Grade

Rega are nothing if not innovators, and the new Eco Deck Green Grade products are a truly exciting way of getting a great product at an exceptionally reasonable price whilst also helping to reduce waste from cosmetic second grade parts.

The Planar 1 Eco Deck listed here features a light cosmetic second gloss plinth, is combined with the mechanical parts of the Planar 1 turntable, and offered at a remarkably low price. In keeping with the Green goal, parts that are cosmetics seconds (such as the tonearm) may also be used, but as you'd expect from Rega they will not compromise on performance, the decks still go through all the usual non cosmetic quality controls tests as their other Planar 1 turntables and there will be no loss in sound quality.

Please note that like Rega, we are making very little money on them at this price, so we are not able to inspect and describe the nature of the cosmetic seconds individually - if you want a cosmetically A grade turntable please buy the normal non Green Grade version that we also sell.

The new Planar 1 is the most user friendly Rega turntable to date. Now with preset bias force on the brand new RB110 tonearm, the Planar 1 is set up in seconds after unpacking. Simply slide the balance weight onto the rear of the tonearm as far as it will go, remove the stylus guard, plug into an appropriate amplifier and start spinning your favourite vinyl.
