Rega Atlas mk2 Digital stylus tracking force gauge

Rega were frustrated by the quality of the scales on the market, so decided to produce their own. 

With accuracy, consistency and reliability being their focus, they have produced a set of scales that are admittedly not cheap, but something that should last for many years and enable you to repeatedly set a very precise tracking force.

The design uses a loadcell that is of a premium full bridge, shear beam construction. The cell is temperature compensated for a wide range of operating temperatures and is extremely resilient to shocks and deterioration over time. The intelligent design of the Atlas ensures the tracking force is measured in the same place every time allowing for very fine adjustment to two decimal places.

Inside the durable aluminium, casework is a highly stable loadcell and precision amplification circuitry. There is also a custom-designed front guard to protect the measuring element and provide easy alignment. This allows the Atlas to achieve accurate and reliable performance with minimal input from the user.

Unlike many digital tracking force gauges, these are not affected by the strong magnets found in MC cartridges, making them ideal for use with all cartridge designs.
