QED Profile 79 Strand Loudspeaker Cables

QED 79 Strand is a classic cable, the staple of many hifi systems in the 1980s and has become something of a standard for basic entry level cables ever since.

With the ever increasing cost of raw materials, especially copper, loudspeaker cables have been creeping up in price and we were struggling to recommend anything at the entry level, so we decided that it was a good time to bring the 79 strand cable back into our range.

It has a decent cross section and is quite flexible too. It's ideal for simple entry level systems, it might not have the sophistication of cables with higher purity conductors or more specialised insulators, but arguably its value for money has never been more relevant than it is today.

We sell this cable off the reel, priced per mono metre (we will supply it in one continuous run) as well as in pre terminated lengths with connectors soldered on. If the length you need is not listed please just let us know.
