The Studio 148 is something of a shop favourite. These speakers are very transparent, efficient and most importantly fun! The paper drivers and soft dome tweeter blend together superbly and the bass is beautifully extended too. They are also very system tolerant, we love them with a good single ended 300B amplifier but they're just as at home with a more powerful solid state amplifier.
This particular pair do have various masks, fading and blemishes. One grille has been repaired and there are chips of the veneer missing on the plinths, but they're still an attractive pair of speakers to my eyes.
We do not have the boxes, so they're only available for collection.
