Pro-Ject Pick-It S2 C MM Cartridge

Pro-Ject worked with Ortofon to produce this special cartridge. Based around the classic Concorde design this is a combined headshell and cartridge ready to go onto any tonearm with an SME type headshell arrangement. It incorporates an inbuilt finger lift and due to the slim body cueing is easier than many other cartridges.

This cartridge is designed for hi-fi applications (unlike the Orofon DJ models that share the same overall appearance) and has a healthy 6mV output helping to reduce noise. During development care was taken to maximise the dynamic performance of this cartridge. An Elliptical stylus profile is used, and any of the OM series styli from Ortofon can be fitted which allows further upgrades in performance too.
