The Pick-It Pro Balanced is a Moving Magnet cartridge derived from the standard Pick-It Pro but with outputs that are wired for true balanced connection (via a suitable tonearm and phono stage). This is achieved by not attaching the shield to one channel of the audio ground. It's a first for an MM cartridge and it can also be used in a more conventional single ended system too.
In all other respects it's just like the Pick-It Pro, with a bonded Elliptical stylus mounted on an aluminium cantilever.
As this cartridge is made by Ortofon in the 2M housing the stylus can be changed to any model in that range to change the performance or even fit a 78 stylus profile if required.
