The SPU Mono G cartridge is a mono cartridge with a 25 μm spherical tip designed for playback of early vinyl records.
This cartridge has an output of 3mV, so is what's commonly referred to as an HOMC High Output MC and should be connected to an MM phono input.
This cartridge is suited to arms that are moderate to high mass and have an 'SME' type headshell connection.
Due to their nature, there can be a lead time on SPU orders, so please ask before ordering if delivery time scale is critical.
As MC cartridges do not have removable stylus assemblies Ortofon have an 'exchange' scheme where your old worn/damaged Ortofon MC cartridge is used as a credit against any other Ortofon MC cartridge.
