Ortofon SPU CLASSIC G MK II MC Cartridge

The SPU Classic G Mk2 is the third model up within the famous SPU range of cartridges and arguably in many ways the closest to the classic SPU design philosophy. Part of the key is a nude spherical diamond that ensures great connection between the groove and the generator improving the directness of the sound.

The sound drips with colour and vibrancy, it doesn't sound old fashioned, it just sounds real. Musicians have substance and a presence that little else captures, the dynamics leap as required and but with more realism than is common. 

This cartridge is suited to arms that are moderate to high mass and have an 'SME' type headshell connection.
