The Gyrodec I'm sure needs little introduction, it's an iconic deck, both stunning to look at and listen to.
This particular one is my favourite AC motor version, with the original Papst synchronous motor (before they were forced into going to a DC motor when Papst stopped production).
This motor is a superb item, robust yet low noise and imbues the deck with a pace and dynamics that was never matched by the later iterations to my ear (and I recall the late great John Michell agreed with me when I tentatively voiced my potentially rather unpopular view to him).
This example is in overall very good used condition, there are various light scratches to the acrylic as is almost inevitable but I would not say they detract from its appearance.
It is fitted with a single point Rega armboard, so it will be suitable for many classic Rega tonearms (like the RB600 we also have available for sale) and some modern arms like the Audio Note models. Arm boards are available to suit a huge variety of other tonearms at additional cost (Michell can custom make anything required).
The deck has been freshly serviced and has the latest rubber coated springs fitted.
The standard 'brick' sized power supply is included but not pictured. We do also have a Gyropower QC power supply available separately.
We would rather not ship the deck as they're best moved by car rather than courier. No packaging is included.
