iFi ZEN Blue 3 Bluetooth Hi Res DAC Wireless Hi-Fi Transmitter & Receiver

The Zen Blue 3 is a combined Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver and can be used to pick up a Bluetooth signal from a suitable Phone, Laptop, Tablet or PC and provide an Analogue or Digital wired connection ready to plug into your hi-fi system (or any device with a line level analogue or coaxial/optical digital input). Allowing you to stream your music from your favourite apps easily and in high quality without having to buy a whole new hi-fi system. It will also accept an Analogue (RCA), Digital optical (3.5mm) or Digital Coaxial (3.5mm) and transmit it over Bluetooth to any suitable receiver!

It can also be used as a wired DAC from your digital source (via 3.5mm coaxial or optical) or USB-C into your hi-fi system.

This is the latest V3 version, the third generation of the Ifi Bluetooth receiver with improvements in performance and bluetooth signal reception over the its already impressive predecessor.

It uses 'Hi Res' Bluetooth 5.4, the very latest version, and the newest Qualcomm QCC518x chip to process all incoming Bluetooth® data and will process all current and future Bluetooth® audio formats. This includes Qualcomm’s aptX and aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, aptX Adaptive, LDAC and HWA/LHDC, hi-res Bluetooth® codecs created by Sony and Huawei respectively, AAC, Apple’s favoured format and SBC, the standard Bluetooth® codec. 

Premium parts from Texas Instruments and TDK are used to ensure high levels of reliability and performance.

The Digital to Analogue conversion is done via an ESS Sabre DAC chip to ensure an extremely smooth digital to analogue conversion. To connect to your hi-fi system it features standard RCA (phono socket) analogue outputs as well as a 4.4mm socket for balanced audio output. It also offers digital outputs via coaxial 3.5mm and optical 3.5mm s/pdif connections, and digital inputs via USB-C, Optical 3.5mm and coaxial 3.5mm.
