This Garrard 401 turntable will be freshly serviced before leaving (so please allow about a week from purchase for us to complete this). The condition is circa 7 out of 10, more details to follow.
It's housed in a Martin Bastin plinth, which quite rightly is considered one of the best plinths available for these turntables. It's made from individually cut layers to add as much mass and remove as many cavities as possible. The plinth came to use is a bit of a state, it had been refinished in matt black paint. This has been carefully stripped off and coated with a clear satin lacquer to protect and preserve the plywood.
The plinth is cut for a 9" SME tonearm (i.e. 3009, 309, IV, V etc). No tonearm is included.
