Exposure 3510 CD Player

The 3510 CD player is a top loading design using a Sony CD transport and a neat magnetic puck and sliding lid, housed in a full width aluminium chassis.

The conversion is done by 'New Old Stock' Burr Brown PCM1704, a dual mono DAC chip favoured by Exposure, and to my ears is still far ahead of many contemporary designs. The power supply transformer has separate windings for the analogue and digital stages to reduce their interaction.

There's a BNC coax S/PDIF digital output and a pair of RCA analogue outputs on the rear panel.
