The Duo SD takes the Uno SD recipe (detailed elsewhere) and scales it up, both physically and also technologically.
In comparison the Duo features a larger mid range horn which means it can work down to even lower frequencies and therefore reduce the crossover point to the bass system.
The driver is larger too, up from 5" to 7" and an Alnico magnet is used, which are rightly prized for their improved texture, speed, reduced grain and more natural tonality than than ferrite magnets.
A larger tweeter horn has also been fitted and a higher crossover point is used.
The bass driver is a larger 12" cone and is housed in a enclosure with a much greater internal volume.
All of these refinements are sure to take the already exceptional performance of the Uno onto an entirely new level of realism.
