    The Ongaku Shinguru is the 'ultimate' Audio Note production mono block power amplifier using a single output valve per channel (if we ignore the custom 'Legend' power amplifiers). They feature the finest parts and an extreme level of attention to detail as befits a cost no object product such as this. 

    Naturally silver wire is used throughout, the transformers included of course, the signal capacitors are silver foil in oil and the other capacitors are a mixture of Black Gate and Audio Notes own models.

    The input is via a Balanced XLR (which can be fed from a single ended pre amplifier if it is able to drive a low impedance load via an appropriate cable). An input transformer takes the balanced signal and converts it to single ended into the VT25/10Y Triode. This unusual and substantial directly heated triode which ultimately does the hard work of driving the single 211 directly heated triode output valve.
