The Gaku-On is the pinnacle of the Audio Note power amplifier range. These monoblock amplifiers use New Old Stock 211 output valves in parallel single ended configuration which produce 45 watts per channel. The signal path contains no coupling capacitors, instead each stage has its own silver wired transformer, three in total per channel. The input valve is a NOS VT25/10Y and as you’d expect the component quality is no compromise, Audio Notes largest Tantalum resistors and Black Gate capacitors are used throughout. The choke smoothed power supply is rectified by two NOS 5R4WGB rectifiers.
