The CD2.1x/II takes the wonderful CD1.1x/II recipe and sprinkles on more high grade internal parts to bring even greater performance.

As you'd probably expect from Audio Note recipe book, here they have fitted tantalum resistors, upgraded electrolytic capacitors and copper foil in oil coupling capacitors.

The performance of this player is superb, it has even more texture and naturalness, almost reaching the giddy organic heights of their two box combinations. Tonal colours are richer and the resolution of musically relevant details is a step up too. It is available with either a silver aluminium or black acrylic fascia.
