The Hyper R1 is the latest in the line of one of our favourite cable ranges. This new model features a symmetrical pseudo-balanced design, where the signal and ground use the same type of conductors (i.e. not a coaxial construction) and are screened with a connection tied to one end only, to ensure noise is sunk efficiently from it. The conductors are stranded Superior Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) copper with broadband expanded polyethylene dielectric, prize for its high propagation velocity.
The screens are a double-layer arrangement with metallised/woven OFC screens.
The RCA plugs feature plated OFC copper pins.
