The Hyper 2.0 speaker is a real sweet spot in the Atlas range for us, and our regular 'go to' for most mid level systems, as it's just so consistent and neutral that it suits any well balanced system.
This cable outperforms many more expensive cables we've tried and the specification is equally impressive, with 5N purity copper and a PTFE insulator around the cores. Beyond this there's a cotton dampening layer and then contained within a PVC jacket.
The 2.0 of the product name refers the cross sectional diameter of the conductors, so it's a 2mm cable inside. It's not too intrusive at 7mm in external diameter and it's really quite flexible too. It is a low capacitance cable making it suitable for use with amplifiers that stipulate this as a requirement.
We sell it per metre unterminated (order any length up to 50m and we will supply it in one contiuous run) and we also sell it with our own terminations (see below) in certain set lengths.
The termination is done by ourselves, we use high quality gold plated 4mm banana plugs which are soldered onto the cable, the heatshrink trim is the more expensive adhesive type which stays in place forever, meaning a set of cables should last a lifetime if looked after.
